Who processes the data
The operator is sole proprietor (individual entrepreneur) Artem Nikolaevich Kulikovskiy (trademark ArtTechLabs), tax ID (INN) 743015080150, registration number (OGRNIP) 326745600134170, address: ul. Chicherina 21B-94, Chelyabinsk, 454128, Russia, phone +7 991 897-53-70. Questions about your data: arttechlabs@ya.ru.
What data we receive
- Observer account: email, name, password (we store only its hash), groups and roles in them.
- Tracker phone: location (coordinates, accuracy, speed, bearing, altitude), battery level, recording events (start, stop, loss of location access), platform and app version.
- Derived from the points: trips, stops and daily statistics; the tracker's arrivals at and departures from group places.
- Group places: names and coordinates of places marked by a group administrator (for example, home and school).
- Observer device: push notification token, platform and interface language — to notify those who subscribed about places and to send SOS alerts to all group members.
- Server logs: IP address and request time — to protect the service from abuse.
We do not collect contacts, photos or advertising identifiers, and we use no analytics or advertising.
Why
So that the members of a group can see where a tracker is, its trips and statistics. There is no other purpose: the data is not sold or shared for advertising.
Who sees the data
Only the members of the group the tracker is paired with, according to the roles the group owner assigned. The operator's staff access the data only for support and security.
Where and for how long it is stored
- Data is stored on servers in the Russian Federation.
- Raw location points, arrivals at and departures from places and SOS alarms (time pressed and cancelled, place, name of the member who cancelled) — 365 days, then deleted.
- Group places are kept until an administrator deletes them or as long as the group exists.
- Trips and stops — a simplified route line, trip start and end places, places of stops — statistics, recording events and the tracker's last known location are kept as long as the tracker exists, including beyond 365 days. They are deleted by deleting the tracker (group administrator) or the group owner's account.
- Database backups — 14 days.
- On an observer's device the app keeps a copy of recent data (offline cache); it is wiped when you sign out.
Third parties
The map is loaded from OpenFreeMap servers: they receive the observer device's IP address and the map area shown, but no tracker data.
Place notifications are delivered by Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging, Android) and Apple (Apple Push Notification service, iPhone): the device token and the notification text — tracker name, place name and time — pass through them. Place notifications go only to group members who turned them on.
SOS: when SOS is held on a tracker phone, every group member gets a notification (tracker name and time; when cancelled — the name of the member who cancelled, which also passes through Google and Apple) and sees where it was pressed; until the alarm is cancelled, the phone shares its location more often — every few seconds.
Tracker phones and children
A phone starts sharing its location only after it is paired with a code from the group administrator and consent is given on the phone itself. While recording, a notification (Android) or the location indicator (iOS) shows it — there is no hidden tracking. A child's phone is paired by a parent or another legal guardian.
Your rights and how to use them
- Stop sharing — deny the app location access in the phone settings.
- Unpair a tracker phone — Settings → Trackers → tracker → “Unpair the phone” (group administrator).
- Delete your account and data — Settings → Account → “Delete account”; see account deletion.
- Request information about your data, correct or delete it — write to arttechlabs@ya.ru; we reply within 10 business days.
Changes
We will announce significant changes in the app. The current version is always at this address.
